3 year warranty
Tunit offers a full 3 year warranty, which stays with the customer should they change vehicles and fit their original Tunit on the new vehicle. Alternatively, the original owner can notify Tunit and transfer the warranty to a new customer should the Tunit be sold with the vehicle.
Two Year Part Exchange Program
If you’re replacing your vehicle and your existing Tunit is under 24 months old, you can take advantage of our part exchange program. The part exchange program was introduced in 2004 and has proved immensely popular with customers who love the Tunit driving experience but have either changed vehicles or want to have the latest type of Tunit. Part exchanging your Tunit can save up to 40% on a new model. Any customer can part exchange their Tunit provided the Tunit is under two years and they are the Tunit’s original owner.
Tunit Application Catalogue
If you’re considering diesel performance tuning for the first time, a Tunit Application Catalogue is available so that you can refer to your current vehicle’s original BHP and torque, together with details of the performance improvements that can be enjoyed. The Tunit Application Catalogue is widely used by would-be car buyers to help decide which vehicle to purchase. Installation
For most vehicles, Tunits can be installed by a competent DIYer in less than 30 minutes, with the aid of full colour instructions that are included in each Tunit pack and include photographs for easy reference. The Tunit’s removal is just as easy should it require fitting on another vehicle.
Every Tunit is purposely designed to be compact and lightweight with the largest Tunit being only 13.5cm across. For most vehicles, the Tunit comes complete with original manufacturers’ plugs and connections, with a wiring harness also provided.
Alternatively, a Tunit fitting service is provided by our world-wide distributor network. An advantage of visiting a distributor is that a ‘try before you buy’ is available to provide an assurance of your vehicle’s Tunit-enhanced performance before purchasing.

Included with each Tunit is an Adjustment and Diagnostics Guide, which advises how to either manually adjust the Tunit or tackle straightforward diagnostics issues.
All Tunits incorporate a manual adjustment method so that they can be individually matched to vehicle’s individual characteristics, which is very important as two cars arriving off the production line together may not react and drive the same. Tunits’ manual adjustment feature overcomes these variances so that optimum performance becomes achievable.
The Tunit I, V-CR, V-PD and V-VP models come pre-set for the vehicle; each with a 9 position rotary switch. Each position provides a different power level: 1 being the lowest and 9 the highest. The Tunit II, III and IV also have a manual adjustment and require a simple adjustment on installation to the vehicle.
Laptop Tuning
Tunit is unique in introducing adjustable tuning via a laptop, which is available on the Tunit I, V-CR, V-VP & V-PD models. Laptop tuning does considerably more than the manual adjustment. When the Tunit is fitted, a Tunit distributor can be reprogram the Tunit whilst the driver is in the vehicle. Tunit’s laptop tuning provides more than an overall power increase: other advantages include moving the power either further up or down the range and a smoother or more aggressive power delivery. A laptop tune is recommended when other performance parts such as an intercooler or induction kits are fitted or for specific requirements such as heavy towing or large loads. When these items are fitted, the Tunit can be matched to the new modification so the full potential can be reached.
This is particularly beneficial when compared with fixed map devices and ECU chipping, where this would be impossible because a new chip or device would be required.
After sales service
Once a Tunit is installed, every customer has the full backup and service from Tunit whilst they own a Tunit. Assistance on any matter is available either by phone or email. Upgrade packs
Upgrade packs can be a cost effective way of upgrading your Tunit to suit your new vehicle and are ideal if your existing Tunit is compatible with your new vehicle. Upgrade packs come complete with harness upgrade, software reprogram and fittings together with full colour fitting instructions and three months technical support.
